We’re proud to be supporting Mind, the mental health charity, and were delighted that could join us at our Junior End of Season Awards Day which took place on Sunday 29th March at Hurlingham Park.
Mind was there to share information about the vital work they do supporting people with mental health challenges and promoting positive wellbeing in our communities. Rugby is about much more than what happens on the pitch — it’s about teamwork, friendship and looking out for one another, and we’re pleased to support a charity that reflects those values.
We were also honoured that Club President Jason Leonard presented prizes and certificates to celebrate the fantastic effort our junior players have put in throughout the season.
Awards Day recognises the hard work, commitment and spirit shown by all of our young players — and is an opportunity to support an organisation doing such important work.

Training
During the season, training runs from 10.00-12.00 each and every Sunday from the beginning of September, usually until mid April. Everybody is welcome.
PLEASE NOTE ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE CURRENT MEMBERSHIPS AND BE REGISTERED AS A PLAYER IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.
Once a player has a valid membership for the current season (either a Taster Membership or Full Membership) and their registration request has been approved, please arrive at Hurlingham Park in time to make yourself known to the relevant age group coach and commence training at 10am.
What does it mean to be a Hammer?
We believe that rugby is an unrivalled way to help young people develop the core skills of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship (TREDS) and promote this philosophy across all age groups.

Club Cafe
Our cafe is open all season on training days, offering teas, coffees, soft drinks, snacks and our world-famous bacon butties.
Our cafe is run entirely by volunteers. If you could help us out with an occasional stint, please let us know!

Hammers Kit
Don’t forget you can now buy your youth kit from our partners at Tacklebag. They supply a full range of jerseys, shorts, fleeces, socks and beanies for all age groups.
