Hammersmith & Fulham U10s win the B Group Cup at Ealing.

Congratulations to all the boys who contributed to a great Cup win for the U10s at Ealing on Sunday. It is particularly pleasing as this is the groups first Cup win in their short rugby career but the photos show that they can celebrate like true rugby professionals!!!! It is also I believe clubs first Cup win of the new season.

The day itself consisted of playing 4 pool games and a final for the two winners of the pool games. Our first game was against Ealing and we won 6-1. The second was Harpenden and drew 1-1. The third against London Irish was 6-0. This left us with a deciding pool game with Teddington with the winners going through to the final. The boys took the game to them and came out convincing winners 3-1.

The final was against a very strong Ealing side that had scored 18 tries and not conceded one in their pool games. They were a very good side and gave us a real lesson in rucking. However we kept our discipline and two great try’s allowed us to come out overall winners with a score line of 2-1.
