Now in it’s 20th year. Over 100 community, charity and craft stalls. Main Stage and Children’s Stage. Bouncy Castles, Punch and Judy, Carousels, Ventriloqist, Magician, Bands, Instant Circus, Fire Eater, Climbing Frame, Food Stalls, Side Shows, Childrens Dancing Displays and numerous other activities all afternoon. Proceeds are donated to various Children’s Charities. Admission is Free.

Dear All,

I wanted to follow up with a mail to thank you for your kind sponsorship and update on events of last week. On the financial side with your assistance I will have raised in the region of GBP 4000 for Help for Heroes following last week’s ride, on the final day as we arrived in Paris it was announced that Help for Heroes as a charity has raised over GBP 100million since October 2007, the fastest ever that total has been raised by a start-up charity or roughly GBP 74K a day is being raised.

Name dropping like Ed Clark

Hammersmith & Fulham get a mention in Julys edition of Rugby World - Champions Edition for their undefeated season and promotion into London 1 North.

‘The Hammers wrapped up this title by early February, completed their league campaign with an umblemished 22-match record and averaged 37 points per game. They scored 119 tries with wings Pieter Van Rensburg and Henry Tanner a potent attacking force. Centre/full-back Neil McClure was leading point-scorer for a side guided by Porter-Griffiths, a former England U18 coach.’

A lot of the 1st XV success this season can be attributed to the leadership of Mark Blyghton and the direction and application of tactics provided by the coaching team of head coach John Porter-Griffiths, forwards coach David Mannion and fitness coach Ian Burbedge, who produced winning teams from a large player base that was the shaped during the weekly training sessions at Hurlingham Park.
