Chairman's December ReportPosted by Ryan Dilley on Wednesday 11th January 2012, 2:20pm

The 1st XV unfortunately lost all three games this month, which means they will have to win a large majority of their remaining games, if they are to stay in the London North One League next season. The team is playing well in patches, but need to reproduce this high standard of play throughout the remaining games left in the season. Hopefully some of the large number of 1st XV players on the injury list will be returning to full fitness in the next few weeks, to strengthen squad for the final push up the league table, which Mark Blyghton aspects in the next few months.

The 2nd XV can’t seem to stop winning at the moment, keeping their undefeated run going with excellent performances that sees them top the Canterbury Shield League. I know their captain Andrew Rogan will be looking to maintain this good run, right through until the end of the season.

Captain Mike Gane has every right to be happy with the form of his 3rd XV players as they are still on track to qualify for the merit table play offs as winners of their league, even after the number of changes to his side ever week due to unavailability of players from teams higher up the club.

The 4th XV are scoring a large number of tries in every match and are still holding top spot in their merit table league. They are looking to win the competition at the end of the season and I doubt Adam Saul the captain, will accept anything less from his side by the end of the campaign.

Felix Whitechapel has kept the 5th XV playing exciting open rugby all season that all his players are enjoying. Also he is keeping the club spirit going with good old fashion H & F RFC socialising after games, with the opposition.

The club is doing well overall, but the 1st XV need to pick up some wins with additional try bonus points over the next few months, to consolidate their position higher up the league.
