Terry - also blurry in real life

I would like to welcome all new, returning players, opposition teams and supporters to the thirty third season of Hammersmith & Fulham RFC at Hurlingham Park.

We are an open rugby union club for men, ladies and mini/youth teams that cater for everyone from all types of different social backgrounds, religions and ethnic groups.

As a club, we are still growing and providing a high standard of rugby for all our teams with a good social side to the club.

In the men’s section are now running regularly four senior teams plus a Vet’s team occasionally throughout the season, with the 1st XV playing at Level 7 in the RFU London North West 2 League.

Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th XV men’s teams take part in the Middlesex Merit Table Leagues, whereas our Vet’s XV play very friendly social matches.

The ladies team are competing in the RFUW South East 1 League on Sunday’s and are maintaining a very strong playing base, that is increasing ever season from its starting point six years ago.

From a small beginning, our mini/youth rugby sides are now flourishing, with many happy children’s taking part on Sunday mornings, either at Hurlingham Park or at tournaments at opposition grounds.

We are very grateful and proud of the support that the Wheatsheaf public house, which has become an integral part of the club’s social life, providing hospitality for our opposition teams and their supporters on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Finally, I would like you all to enjoy your time at Hammersmith & Fulham RFC this season and for many years thereafter. This is a very unique club within the London area, who plays with commitment, but also prides itself in having a very good social aspect to the club that is recognised by our opponents and their supporters who have played against us.

Regards,

Terry Alleyne
Chairman of Hammersmith & Fulham RFC
