With Tuesday and Thursday training sessions fully in swing, the Wheatsheaf have this season expanded their after training menu exclusive to Hammers players. The new menu now includes Steak and salads with added french fries to the burgers.

Calling all players (both old and new) that harbour aspirations to play first or second team rugby this season.

We have two games organised for the 14th and 21st August, the first against Ruislip (away) and the second against Woodford (home).Both games are afternoon kick offs and are to be played as trials games.

Would all players wishing to be considered for selection please make their availability known to the club coach by return e-mail to portergriffiths@aol.com

The Hammersmith & Fulham Council hosted its first annual Community Sports Awards at The Champions Club, Chelsea FC, Stamford Bridge. The event celebrates the achievements of local athletes, coaches, volunteers, clubs and organisations, and aims to raise the profile of those who have made outstanding contributions to sport and physical activity in the local community.

Ryan Dilley was presented with “Athlete of the Year” award by John Inverdale. This award was presented to Ryan in recognition of outstanding achievement and performance in their chosen sport during the year.

Cut & Paste - How the site was built

So…it’s been a long time coming, just over a year. But after about 400 hours, some blood, sweat, tears and more tears it’s finally… pretty much… done.

I don’t think we really did. Our site was voted the best club website in Middlesex not too long back and it’s done us proud, filling its purpose. A lot of the content on the new site is taken straight from the old, just with a bit of added jazz. But after a bit of peer pressure, I decided to apply my trade as a web designer, to help enjoy a more successful club.
